The car has been in my own garage for a few weeks now, because of a leaking diff. A collegue of mine mentioned a garage in the neighbourhood that's a specialist in race bmw's. At this very moment the car is in their hands for diff bearings, and a suspension check. Also two new tyres will be mounted, together with the proper aligning. More entries will be made soon! Ik heb ook een alpina virus opgelopen bij het kopen van mijn eerste alpina die ik nu 2 maanden bezit. Een b3 2.7 cabrio automaat e30 met 56000km op de teller en geheel orgineel in nieuwstaat alle history voor handen.Van een auto journalist gekocht een duitser ook een alpina fanatic.Deze man bezit verschilende alpinas waaronder ook een e34 v8 6bak..Op deze auto had ik met michael(de journalist) ook een mondelinge overeenkomst gesloten nadat ik met hem een testrid had gemaakt in de e34 v8.(280 op de teller zat nog meer in geen ruimte op de autobaan)Ik had de auto gekocht voor mijn gevoel,nu heeft hij zo,n spijt gekregen en wil hem niet meer verkopen. Echt jammer wat een bom van een auto voor die tijd met 80000 km op de teller ik was verkocht na die test rit. Mocht hij ooit de auto verkopen heb ik de eerste keuze..Nu ben ik zo into het e34 model die wil ik 1 hebben voor mijn kleine collectie,ik bezit een z1 (heb ik al 10 jaar) met 50000km op de teller,en nu dan een b3 cabrio e34.Allebei zwart van kleur. Nu wil ik ook graag een e34 v8,die zijn er zo weinig is niet makkelijk om die te vinden.En nu ben ik eigenlijk aan het zoeken naar een bi turbo.Ik wil een goede met weinig kilometers maar wanneer is zo,n bi turbo goed?Op verschillende forums lees je zoveel over die bi turbos en dat het vrij snel kapot kan,ik denk dat het ook heeft te maken met hoe je zo,n auto behandeld..Jij hebt een hele mooie bi turbo in je collectie dat is een echte. Ik ben alleen niet zo van rood,had anders wel over jou bi turbo willen praten..Ik zou graag een zwarte willen of een alpina blauwe.. Your ‘93 Granite Silver M5 Touring looks almost like mine save for the satin chrome trim.

I too had a 535i ( manual ) and an M5 board member, Cyrus, chipped it for me….what a wonderful car. I still miss it. Those m30 engines are absolutely indestructible.

My M5 is actually my hobby….I also have an E60 523i as a daily driver and the next cars on my list ( once funds allow ! ) are an E34 ‘95MY M5, and E30 M3 Evo and an E46 M3CSL !

Well you gotta dream before the dream comes true !
